….and Weiners Prevail.

My helpful whiz – the fellow who uploads my articles for The Orion Post, has been unable to do the postings. I have been too busy “crisis and trauma managing” (infer tornadoes and victims galore), doing my ongoing, literally hourly work with international organizations involved with child kidnapping and the international child sex trade, barely managing my practice, speaking-teaching, writing several books past deadline, directing Speakers for Social Responsibility (now 120 speaker members), still in need of promo material (even a mere descriptive statement on my web site and on this blog), surviving renovations in and around one of my dwellings without attacking any the workers, and feeling both helpless and somewhat embarrassed that I cannot post my articles “moi meme” (myself)!

Too Much Weiner

In addition to the current number of politicians admitting to truly “creepy”, gross and misogynistic behaviors – and taking full responsibility for their actions once they have been caught – the talk has just now died down about how phallic, how macho Obama suddenly became when he apparently “got” bin Laden. Per this story, had it been possible, I would have risked posting an article about yet another weiner-planned, weiner-orchestrated and weiner-attenuated conceit aimed at extending the perception of the current presidential weiner. T’is simply not true. But with no jobs and a middle class on life support, it was worth (the wieners thought) to try to put some hair on the president’s chest. No point in going into the details here. I suggest my overwhelming handful of reader(s) perform a discerning about bin Laden’s death and come to his/their own conclusion(s). Hint: Remember that bin Laden was on daily dialysis as long ago as six years? Needless to mention the immediate burial at sea, done “out of respect for his Muslim beliefs”. The same goes for the CIA doctored photo that appeared on the internet just as Obama was telling “his people” that the picture taken (as proof) was too gory for human eyes, the fact that Pakistan and the Mossad filled in obvious gaps in the narrative within two days because too many of His (Obama’s) people did not buy the hole-riddled story, and that the focus quickly turned to bin Laden’s porno stash (reality show in production – “WIVES WHO FIND OUT THEY’RE NOT ENOUGH”).

Then, there is “Arab Spring” turning into a very hot “Arab Summer”, American jets secretly bombing Yemen (another war conducted without the permission of Congress), unemployment figures rising, and over one out of four American families facing foreclosure. Japan is decimated after three meltdowns and the entire planet is, well, “infected”, zapped, microwaved. Governments’ silence is deafening.

In Canada a female intern stood in the main hall of Parliament and held up a sign saying, “Stop Harper”. For this she was fired, of course, and has since been labeled a major, dangerous security risk. Persona non grata forever more in this governmentally vengeful country, Michael Moore – the calmly effective, every-man’s documentarian, has offered her a job. Awesome! Now, he has something to tweet about!

Enough

Grow up boys. Phallic just doesn’t cut it, and it never has. The world needs more yin not yang. I doubt Hillary Clinton – the de facto president of the United States – has experienced even a fleeting urge to self-photograph her breast, breasts or vagina and tweet the image to one to six or more of her followers. Abreast with the international plight of women, she would know that over six girls a minute are raped in the Congo and other parts of Africa. Tribal women try to counsel catatonic and irrevocably “injured” 8 year olds while the wieners move on to more resistant enclosures.

New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, with his weiner, was someone perceived as caring about the increasingly poor, the forgotten and trodden. However, the post of his whole deal amid the inexcusable weiner-related conduct of Schwartzenegger, Edwards, Evans, Stevens and more, as well as amid his own tearful apology and FU statement about not resigning, just came off (and up) looking like a small, pathetic little sac. The tower he so coveted (and depended on) was blurred.

Wordy, I know. But I have been stifling. Moreover, the tighter stuff never made it to my poster’s inbox for uploading. Perhaps that’s a good thing. Suffice it to say, we don’t need more “dick” – either in our faces or in the world. From all points of dimming light and challenged intelligence we need nurturing - a thoughtful attentiveness, a revolution geared toward earthly salvation. I never bought in to the cutsie expression before, but, my gosh, I’m now sure God is a woman, and she’s not just sad but grossed out! As we destroy each other and much that is beautiful on this planet, we are all (including our children) being bombarded with daily pics and pricks about wangs.

God help us – and may Spirit take pity on our preoccupations and forgive us for what we choose to ignore.
